Flowers

Here i am back with a fact again.... did anyone know there are 270,000 species of flowers documented till date and living in this century. I'd say flowers are the best creation of God. They have been and are used on all occasions in every nook n corner of the world by us. Even the place uninhabited by humans has flowers enhancing the beauty of the nature. Everyone's favorite rose flower dates back to 35 million years. If people back in time couldn't stay away from them.... then now in 21st century people, who need reasons to come out of stressful lives, can't even think of life without flowers. Without flowers , our lawns would look deserted and our lives dull.

Let us all plant one flowering plant in our homes today to fill our lives with color and also GO GREEN.

There are flowers for every occasion and also the flower for each month. Flower "Daisy" got the privilege of being the flower of month April. Daisies are symbolic of unfettered love and innocence.

Heres a daisy from me for the kids in the world, for kids are the most innocent of all.

Haunting Realities!!

Yesterday I watched "the haunting", a series on discovery channel showing dramatisation of true incidents which could set your thoughts running over the existence of haunting souls.

The episode i saw was based on the incident about a young boy who went through terrible times by being haunted by a spirit. It showed courage of a mother to confront the harsh reality and save her family from the evil.

This could have been another fiction drama on TV but the very thought sends chills down my spine even to think of my loved one ever getting caught in the web of spirit world. Hearing such stories i must say.... WE JUST THINK, WE JUST BELIEVE, BUT WE DON'T KNOW........

Is our DOOMSDAY near????

Well!! .... today ... my thoughts on .. who could predict the future stands beaten by not God but a mere human from the history. None other than famous astrologer and physician, Nostradamus is the King of the ring.

I am sure, for once we would have heard this great man's name but none of us would have imagined that he had predicted our doomsday let alone his predictions about assassination of John F Kennedy or the attacks of 9/11 or French revolution from the past. 

His predictions, written in form of quatrains many of which have been deciphered, leave me dumbfounded and dizzy, time stops around me and i wonder.... If he, being a mere human, predicted our future....is our doomsday near? and like him is there anyone else amongst us who could do the same and tell us what future holds in store for us?

Reality!!

 The truth behind existence of you and me on this planet is well beyond the imagination. Who could have predicted we could evolve to the present day  and we  ‘the humans’  would bring about the inventions of  mere communications devices like our i-phones to  travelling into outer space.

Human minds may race in all directions searching for new horizons but beneath all what seems simple and straight are hidden realities ..good or evil. These realities may sometimes even outrun our thoughts.
